Context
Two cities of very different size and density went through the same two waves. Setting them side by side turns a national event into a question about urban form.
Role
Research Intern — Prof. Dr. Mahavir
Conducted research assessing the impact of the pandemic on urban areas, focusing on Wave 1 and Wave 2 in Mumbai and Bhopal. Collected and analysed data on the socio-economic, healthcare and infrastructural aspects of the two cities across the respective waves. Assisted in preparing comprehensive reports highlighting the vulnerabilities, challenges and resilience measures adopted by urban areas in response.
